Driver Licence Requirements
An ONTARIO valid G license or EQUIVALENT from other Canadian Province, is required for a vehicle rental. If the customer is from another country then either customer's international license (preferably) or country's full license with the proof of customer's PASSPORT is required to rent any one of the fleet vehicles. ITS CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WITH THE MINISTRY of TRANSPORTATION TO UNDERSTAND THE CLASS OF THE LICENSE THE CUSTOMER IS HOLDING AND THE VEHICLE THE CUSTOMER IS DRIVING..
LATE HOUR & EXTRA DAILY Charge
PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY
All our vehicles, in general and 7-15 passenger vehicles, in particular, are reserved at a short interval between the two reservations, during the busy periods. We want all our customers be served professionally & ON TIME to their reservations. So its very important that the customer in the rental adheres strictly to the "TIME DUE IN" agreed upon in the rental agreement (RA#), or the customer will be charged LATE HOUR fee, which will be between 25%-50% of the daily rental charge. For example, if the daily rental price is $100, then the LATE HOUR fee will, at least, be $25-$50 / HOUR . Failure to show up within four hours of the agreed upon rental "TIME DUE IN" will lead the customer to pay EXTRA DAILY fee which could be up to $200 more than the daily rental price for the, probable, price adjustments to the next reservation in lieu of the late pick up harassment of the next customer. PLEASE RESPECT THE TIME SCHEDULE OF THE NEXT CUSTOMER(s), AS THE "NEXT CUSTOMER" COULD BE YOU TOO.

Reservation Confirmation
All the reservation requests sent online are acknowledged with the RESERVATION REQUEST CONFIRMATION email ,in a "HOLI-BRAM 12345678" or a HOLI-YYZP-12345678" format ,which is not the CONFIRMATION of the reservation(s) untill the customer gets an email from [email protected] for the reservation confirmation , in a 7 digit "4501234" format,within 48 hours , if the customers do not get any "confirmation" email from [email protected] within 48 hours of the reservation request, the reservation request won't be considered as a "confirmed" reservation
Cleanliness of the vehicle
Holiday Car & Truck Rentals is committed to provide our invaluable customer a clean and tidy vehicle at the time of rental and expect the same gesture from the customer. The vehicle returned soiled , untidy and unclean beyond a reasonable limit will be charged up to $325 with no exception(s).
Reservation advance payment
Total reservation amount will be charged at the time of reservation confirmation for a high occupancy vehicle( 8-15 passenger Vans/SUVs), Luxury/Primium vehicles.
35% of total reservation amount will be charged for rest of the fleet. Full amount or the pending amount , if any, will be charged at the time of rental, this rental charge will be separate than the security deposit or pre-authorization of the renter's credit card which ranges between $500-$2500 depending upon the type of vehicle the customer rents.

Credit Card Requirements
We require one of major credit cards in the name of renter for security deposit purpose. If the main driver does not have a credit card in his/her name and wants to borrow the credit card of another person for this purpose, then, we would need to add the name of the person lending the credit card to the rental agreement with applicable fee/charge. It is required by the company that the person to be added as an additional driver has a valid G or equivalent licence. PLEASE NOTE THAT we've a NO CREDIT CARD--NO RENTAL POLICY in place.
Pre-Authorization / Security Deposit
Pre-authorization is the security deposit needed at the time of rental. The pre-authorization amount doesn't show up in the monthly credit card statement of the customer. For most of the cars up to 7 passenger capacity it is $2000 but for premium/luxury and 8 to 15 passenger vehicles it ranges between $1500-$5000 depending upon the LDW deductible selected by the customer.
Payment of Rental Agreement
All rental agreements will be charged in advance. The reservations are charged randomly, if the customers are not charged for their reservation amount at the time of reservation confirmation, then the whole amount will be charged at the time of the rental. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RENTAL CHARGE WILL BE SEPARATE FROM THE SECURITY DEPOSIT/PRE-AUTHORIZATION.
Reservation CANCELATION policy (Please READ CAREFULLY)
CANCELATION POLICY FOR THE REGULAR VEHICLES (EXCEPT THE LUXURY/PREMIUM VEHICLES) UP TO 5 PASSENGERs SEATING CAPACITY....All cancellations are subject to the current one day rental charges with fees and Taxes, if the Cancellation(s) is/are submitted within 72hrs prior to the actual pickup time. 50% of the reservation amount will be charged, if, cancelations are submitted atleast upto 48 hours prior to the actual pickup time. Full amount, as per reservation request, will be charged for the cancelations received in less than 48 hours of actual pickup time.

Insurance coverage (CDW/LDW)
For all the vehicles to run on the road, insurance coverage is mandatory. If the customer has OPCF27 coverage in the insurance policy then the customer needs not to pay for insurance coverage costs. However, this exemption in waiving off insurance costs for having OPCF 27 add-on in the customers insurance policy is not applicable on the 12-15 passenger vans, as most of the insurance companies have some GROSS WEIGHT LIMITs. So please make sure with your insurance company regarding the coverage, as, the rental vehicle may exceed the Gross Weight limit of the customer's insurance company's policy. This is customer's responsibility to check their insurance coverages. PLEASE BRING IN THE COPY OF YOUR OPCF27 COVERAGE in your INSURANCE POLICY, TO AVOID ANY LDW Ins. CHARGEs.
The customers holding a credit card to cover the rental vehicle CDW need to make sure, from their credit card providers, on their own about the coverage(s) limit, their credit cards extend towards the insurance of vehicles. Please make sure that the coverage limit is more than the MSRP of the rented vehicle. The proof of coverage may be required at the time of rental as we want our customer and vehicle are legally covered by the insurance.

Roadside Assistance
We have no comprehensive ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE or ONSITE VEHICLE REPLACEMENT option on our rentals or vehicles. We try to keep our fleet well serviced on time , but in an UNFORTUNATE case of any mechanical trouble/failure we can assist the customer in finding the best solution available onsite through our online resources. If the fault occurs due to any regular vehicle running , then the cost incurred will be refunded to the customer, but if the fault/trouble arises due to rough handling /misuse of the vehicle by the renter, then the cost on the repairs will be charged to the customer only. in worse scenario case, if the customers opt for their transportation to their rental drop off location a maximum of $110 per passenger will be offered as a compensation.
Age Requirements

*The renter should be atleast 23 years of age, but the driver will still be considered "underage" below an age of 25 for which additional charge of $ 9.99 will be charged.
